What types of images can I explain?
You can explain virtually any image — screenshots, charts, graphs, diagrams, documents, receipts, price tags, maps, infographics, memes, labels, signs, handwritten notes, and more.
How many free analyses do I get per day?
Free users get a limited number of analyses per day. Upgrading to Premium unlocks up to 20 analyses per day, all languages, deep detail cards, and unlimited Q&A per image.
Is my data private? Are my images stored?
Your images are sent to Google's Gemini AI for processing and are not stored on our servers. Your analysis history is saved locally on your device only — we have no access to it. No personal account is required.
How do I restore my Premium subscription on a new device?
Open the App, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases". Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the Settings app on your iPhone → tap your Apple ID at the top → Subscriptions → find Explain Any Image → tap Cancel Subscription. You can also manage subscriptions directly in the App Store.
Can I request a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple directly. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and select the purchase you'd like to dispute. We are unable to process refunds directly.
Which languages are supported?
The AI can respond in 15 languages: English, Turkish, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified), Hindi, Dutch, and Polish. You can change the response language in Settings.
What is the Q&A feature?
After receiving an explanation for an image, you can type follow-up questions about the same image and get instant AI-powered answers. Premium users get unlimited Q&A per image.
What are Deep Detail Cards?
Tap "Get Details" after an explanation to get a deeper analysis broken into swipeable cards — covering key points, context, background information, and action items extracted from your image.
The AI explanation seems wrong. What should I do?
AI outputs can sometimes be inaccurate. Try uploading a higher resolution version of the image, or use the Q&A feature to ask a more specific question. If you consistently experience poor results, please contact us at [email protected] so we can investigate.
