Terms of Service
1. Agreement
By installing or using the AI Voice Keyboard iOS application (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.
2. The Service
AI Voice Keyboard provides a custom iOS keyboard extension and companion application that enables voice-to-text dictation across any iOS app. Speech recognition is performed by Apple's built-in SFSpeechRecognizer framework, on-device wherever supported.
The keyboard extension also functions as a standard text-entry keyboard with letters, numbers, and punctuation, even when Full Access is not granted.
3. Subscriptions, Billing & Cancellation
AI Voice Keyboard is offered on a subscription basis. The following subscription options are available:
- Weekly: $9.99 USD per week (or local equivalent)
- Yearly: $49.99 USD per year (or local equivalent)
There is no free trial. You will be billed immediately upon subscribing.
Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your iTunes account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period.
Cancellation
You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in your iOS Settings → [your Apple ID] → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds (if any) are handled by Apple under their policies; we do not process refunds directly.
Price Changes
We may change subscription prices from time to time. Any price change will be disclosed to you before it takes effect and will not affect your current billing period.
Apple's Standard EULA applies: In addition to these Terms, your use of the App is governed by Apple's standard End User License Agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App to harass, threaten, defame, or harm any person
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the App's source code beyond what is permitted by applicable law
- Use automated tools or bots to interact with the App or its services
- Attempt to circumvent subscription requirements or access controls
- Use the App to dictate content you do not have the right to produce
You are solely responsible for the content you dictate or type using the App. We have no ability to monitor or review what you type, as the App does not transmit or store text content.
5. AI Transcription Accuracy
Speech recognition is performed by Apple's SFSpeechRecognizer framework. While we have designed the App to use the highest available recognition accuracy, transcription results may contain errors, particularly in noisy environments, with strong accents, with technical vocabulary, or with languages that have limited on-device support.
You are responsible for reviewing transcribed text before sending or submitting it. We make no guarantee of transcription accuracy and are not liable for losses arising from transcription errors.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, its code, design, branding, and all associated intellectual property are owned by us. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App on iOS devices you own or control, solely for personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms.
Text you dictate using the App belongs to you. We claim no rights over the content you produce.
7. Warranty Disclaimer
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT TRANSCRIPTION WILL BE ACCURATE.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Subscription cancellation is handled through your Apple ID as described above.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may notify you in-app. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
