What does Pet Dance AI do?
Pet Dance AI turns a photo of your pet — or really any clear photo of an animal, from dogs and cats to rabbits, birds, or even a frog or lizard — into a short, cute AI dance video. You don't pick a dance style yourself; the App randomly chooses one of several fun styles for you each time, so every video feels a little different.
How do I make my first dance video?
Open the App, tap Take Photo or Upload from Photos, and choose a clear photo with one animal centered in the frame. The App briefly prepares your clip, then — if you're subscribed — starts generating. If you're not subscribed yet, you'll see the paywall before anything is generated.
What kind of photo works best?
A clear, well-lit photo showing one animal fully in frame works best. Try to avoid very dark or blurry photos, heavy existing filters, or photos with multiple pets, so the AI has enough to work with.
Does it work with any animal, not just cats and dogs?
Yes. As long as there's one clear main animal in the photo, Pet Dance AI can work with cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, lizards, and most other pets. If the App can't clearly find one main animal, it will ask you to try a clearer photo.
How long does generation take?
Usually a couple of minutes. Keep the App open on the generating screen until your video appears on the result screen.
Why doesn't the result look exactly like I imagined?
Pet Dance AI uses a generative AI video model — it's creative, not deterministic, and the dance style is chosen randomly each time. The same photo can produce a different-looking dance on different runs. Tap Regenerate to try a fresh take on the same photo.
Can I save or share the result?
Yes. On the result screen, tap Save Video to add it to your Photos, or Share to send it directly to Messages, TikTok, Instagram, or anywhere else.
Subscriptions
Do I need to subscribe to use the App?
Yes. Generating a dance video requires an active subscription. We never send your photo to our AI provider until your subscription is confirmed — if you're not subscribed, you'll see the paywall first.
What subscription plans are available?
- Weekly — 7 dance video generations every week while active. Auto-renews weekly until cancelled.
- Yearly — 10 dance video generations every week while active — a higher weekly allowance than Weekly — billed once a year.
The current price of each plan is shown at the time of purchase in your local currency.
Do unused videos carry over to the next week?
No. Each plan's allowance resets on a rolling 7-day cycle, and any unused videos from one week don't carry over into the next.
What happens when I use all my videos for the week?
You'll see a friendly screen letting you know your weekly allowance is used up and how many days until it resets. You can also tap See Plans from that screen to switch to the Yearly plan for a higher weekly allowance.
I already picked a photo — do I lose it if I have to subscribe first?
No. Your selected photo (and the dance style chosen for it) is remembered through the paywall. Once you complete your purchase, generation continues automatically on the same photo — no need to pick it again.
How do I cancel my subscription?
iOS Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → Pet Dance AI → Cancel Subscription. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. We can't cancel subscriptions for you — Apple manages this directly.
How do I get a refund?
All purchases are processed by Apple, so refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We don't have the ability to issue refunds ourselves.
I subscribed but the App still shows the paywall.
Tap Restore at the bottom of the paywall screen. This re-syncs your purchase from Apple. If it still doesn't unlock after a minute, email us with your purchase confirmation from Apple.
Privacy and data
What happens to my pet's photo after I upload it?
Your photo is sent to our AI provider (fal.ai) over an encrypted connection so it can generate your pet's dance video. We do not run any server of our own that stores your photo, and it's never used to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
Do you store the videos you generate?
No. The App has no account or history system — the video is streamed to your device for the current session. If you want to keep a copy, tap Save Video on the result screen.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Pet Dance AI has no sign-up, no email, and no password. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID.
Do you sell my data?
No. We don't sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers. We don't run ads in the App. Our only revenue is from subscriptions.
What permissions does the App need?
- Camera: Only when you tap "Take Photo" to photograph your pet.
- Photo Library (read): Only when you tap "Upload from Photos". We use Apple's standard picker, which only hands us the single photo you selected.
- Photo Library (add): Only when you tap "Save Video" on a finished result.
- Network: To talk to our AI provider and RevenueCat.
Troubleshooting
Generation seems stuck on the loading screen.
Generation typically takes a couple of minutes, sometimes longer if our AI provider is under high load. Keep the App open and give it a little more time. If it fails, you'll see a friendly error and can try again.
I got a "couldn't clearly find one main pet" error.
Try a clearer photo with a single animal centered in the frame, good lighting, and no other pets or people crowding the shot.
The App crashed when I tried to generate.
Please email us with your iOS version, your iPhone model, and a description of what you were doing when the crash occurred. The more detail, the faster we can fix it.
The result video won't play.
Try closing and reopening the App. Generated videos may take a few seconds to buffer on slower connections.
My saved video doesn't appear in Photos.
When you tap Save Video, iOS will ask for permission to add to your Photo Library the first time. Make sure you approved that permission (iOS Settings → Pet Dance AI → Photos). Then try saving again from the result screen.
Reporting abuse
If you believe someone is using Pet Dance AI to create harmful content — uploading photos of people without consent, generating harassment, impersonation, manipulated video intended to mislead, or any other illegal use — please report it to us immediately.
Email [email protected] with the subject "Pet Dance AI — Abuse Report" and as much detail as you can share. We take every report seriously and will investigate within 48 hours.
