What does Glow Up Analysis do?
Glow Up Analysis turns a single photo of you into a personalized AI-generated beauty analysis card — a magazine-style editorial breakdown covering things like hair, brows, eyes, and lips. Browse 5 styles, pick one, upload your photo, and the AI composes your finished analysis card in under a minute.
How do I make my first beauty analysis card?
Open the App, swipe through the full-screen style feed on the Styles tab, tap Analyze Me on the style you like, upload your photo, and tap Generate Now.
Do I need to type in any names or details?
No. Glow Up Analysis doesn't ask for any name, age, or caption text — just your photo.
What kind of photo works best?
A clear, well-lit, front-facing photo where your face is clearly visible works best. Try to avoid extremely dark scenes, heavy existing filters, or photos where your face is mostly obscured, so the AI has enough to work with.
How long does a card take to generate?
Usually under a minute. Keep the App open while it generates — you'll land on the result screen automatically when it's ready.
Why doesn't the result look exactly like I imagined?
Glow Up Analysis uses a generative AI model — it's creative, not deterministic. The same photo and style can produce slightly different results on different runs.
Can I save or share the result?
Yes. On the result screen, tap Save to add it to your Photo Library, or Share to send it directly to Messages, Mail, or any other app. The first time you save, iOS will ask permission to add to your Photo Library.
Where can I see my past cards?
The My Photos tab keeps a private history of every beauty analysis card you've generated, including ones still processing or that failed.
Credits and subscriptions
How does the credit system work?
Every card generation costs 1 credit. New installs start with 0 credits — you'll need a subscription or a credit pack before your first generation. Browsing all 5 styles is always free; credits are only spent when you tap Generate.
What subscription plans are available?
- Weekly — Grants 10 photo credits every 7 days while active. Auto-renews weekly until cancelled.
- Yearly — Grants 8 photo credits every 7 days while active. Auto-renews yearly. Best long-term value.
Unused credits from either plan carry over — they're never reset to zero, your balance simply grows with every new grant as long as the subscription stays active.
Can I just buy credits without subscribing?
Yes. Tap the credit counter in the top-right of the Styles tab, or "Buy Credits" in Settings, to purchase a one-time pack (10, 50, 100, or 500 credits). Packs never expire and don't require a subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription?
iOS Settings → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → Glow Up Analysis → Cancel Subscription. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. We can't cancel subscriptions for you — Apple manages this directly.
How do I get a refund?
All purchases are processed by Apple, so refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We don't have the ability to issue refunds ourselves.
I purchased but it isn't showing up in the App.
Open Settings in the App and tap Restore Purchases. This re-syncs your purchase from Apple. If it still doesn't appear after a minute, email us with your purchase confirmation from Apple.
A generation failed — did I lose my credit?
No. If a photo fails to generate for any reason, the credit is automatically refunded to your balance.
Privacy and data
What happens to my photos after I upload them?
Your photo is sent to our AI provider (fal.ai) over an encrypted connection so it can be transformed into your chosen beauty analysis card style. We do not store your original photo on our own servers, and your photo is never used to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
Do you store the photos you generate?
The finished photo's image URL is saved to your private photo history (tied to your anonymous user ID) so you can revisit it in My Photos. If you want a local copy, tap Save on the result screen.
How do I delete all my data?
Email us at [email protected] with the subject "Glow Up Analysis — Data Deletion Request" and your anonymous user ID (found at the bottom of the Settings screen). We'll delete all data associated with your installation within 30 days. Note: uninstalling the App alone does not delete server-side data — you need to email us if you want everything wiped.
Do you sell my data?
No. We don't sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers. We don't run ads in the App. Our only revenue is from subscriptions and credit packs.
Can I upload a photo of a child?
Only with the consent of that child's parent or legal guardian. You may only upload a photo of yourself or of someone who has given you explicit permission — see our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service for details.
What permissions does the App need?
- Photo Library (read): Only when you pick a photo to generate a beauty analysis card. We use Apple's standard picker, which only hands us the single photo you selected each time.
- Photo Library (add): Only when you tap "Save" on a finished photo.
- Network: To talk to our backend and AI provider.
Troubleshooting
Generation has been stuck for more than a minute.
Sometimes our AI provider experiences high load. If a generation does not complete within a reasonable time, the App will mark it as failed and refund your credit. You can then try again. If the issue keeps happening, email us so we can investigate.
The App crashed when I tried to generate.
Please email us with your iOS version, your iPhone model, and a description of what you were doing when the crash occurred. The more detail, the faster we can fix it.
I got an error during generation.
Make sure you have an active internet connection and try again — most generation errors are transient network issues and resolve on a retry. Your credit is automatically refunded if a generation fails.
The result image won't load.
Try closing and reopening the App. Generated images may take a few seconds to download on slower connections.
My saved photo doesn't appear in Photos.
When you tap Save, iOS will ask for permission to add to your Photo Library the first time. Make sure you approved that permission (iOS Settings → Glow Up Analysis → Photos). Then try saving again from the result screen.
Reporting abuse
If you believe someone is using Glow Up Analysis to create harmful content — uploading photos of people without consent, uploading photos of minors, generating harassment, impersonation, manipulated imagery intended to mislead, or any other illegal use — please report it to us immediately.
Email [email protected] with the subject "Glow Up Analysis — Abuse Report" and as much detail as you can share. We take every report seriously and will investigate within 48 hours.
For sexual content involving minors (CSAM), we are required by law to report to the appropriate authorities and we cooperate fully with law enforcement.
